Reversal

You don't always want a negative photogram (where the light turns the exposed areas a color and the shadows are white). Sometimes you want the reverse, white hightlights and dark colored shadows.

In order to do this you need to make a negative first. The negative is just like a normal photogram only you will be using a light sensitive silver based film which can be developed like a silver print.

The easiest and cheapest to use in Lith film. Available from Freestyle.

Once you have this dried negative photogram, you can then contact print it on to silver paper or any of the alternative process [cyanotype, van dyke, etc.]
